Three Forces
Research at the intersection of three forces
1
Policy
Central banks, fiscal shifts, regulation, geopolitics, and market structure. The macro forces that set the table for everything else.
2
Activist Change
Catalysts that unlock value through pressure, restructuring, spin-offs, governance change, and strategic shifts.
3
Technological Inflection
The industries and bottlenecks created when a major technology cycle moves from narrative to buildout. Where scarcity meets demand.
Three Platforms
Different strategies. Complementary research.
Both portfolios are actively managed with documented track records. Members invest on their own terms, in their own accounts. Pro Perspectives is our free daily note — the foundation that ties everything together.
The History
Built over nearly two decades
2007
Logic Fund Management founded in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida as a research and trading firm.
2008–09
Begins publishing daily macro analysis focused on policy, positioning, and catalysts. The research gains traction, leading to a licensing arrangement that expands readership to more than 400,000.
2012
Readership grows through contributor partnerships including Forbes. Launches Billionaire's Portfolio, curating a portfolio of high-conviction activist campaigns.
2014
Publishes "Japan: Trade of the Decade." The thesis: Abenomics, driven by BOJ activism would return the Nikkei to all-time highs, yen-hedged small caps would do multiples.
2015
Forbes co-brands Billionaire's Portfolio. Early campaign follows Carl Icahn into Freeport McMoran.
2016
Launch of Pro Perspectives. Identifies the 50% crash in oil as a "rigged" effort by OPEC to dismantle U.S. shale. Predicts central banks will do "whatever it takes" to prevent a systemic collapse, correctly identifies the bottom in oil and a contrarian rotation into energy and commodities.
2020
Navigating the pandemic dislocation. The portfolio successfully navigates the historic sell-off, acquiring activist-owned airline and restaurant stocks for cents on the dollar, anticipating the massive turnaround driven by the government's pandemic-policy response.
2023
AI-Innovation Portfolio launches. Logic launches a dedicated portfolio focused on the infrastructure and bottlenecks behind the AI buildout.
2025
The Scarcity Rotation. As the AI trade shifts from software toward physical constraints, the portfolio repositions toward themes including power, quantum hardware, and robotics.
2026
75 exited campaigns across both portfolios, reflecting a research process built over multiple market cycles.
The Founder
Bryan Rich

Bryan began his career on the trading desk of a London-based family office macro fund that managed money for a French billionaire — and later served as Senior Trader at Integra Investment Management, a nominee for Global Macro Hedge Fund of the Year. He has worked in London and on Wall Street.

Over nearly two decades, he has built a research franchise centered on identifying major shifts before they become consensus — from policy-driven macro turns to activist equity campaigns and long-duration technological transitions.

"We identify big themes before they become consensus — and we position for them."
